“We’re not just coworkers, we are a family.” This saying is often used as a recruiting or sales tactic to show camaraderie within companies. But at Offleash, we mean it. We share laughs, tears, celebrations, frustrations, and a few drinks here and there. The culture we’ve created is nothing short of magic, and you have to experience it to understand it.
What does this mean for our clients? Clients choose a team that they like and trust to represent them publicly. In the world of high-tech PR, the client/agency relationship is a deep and close one. Clients loathe the “revolving door” that often taints our industry’s reputation. This is why it is key to focus on ensuring a healthy, vibrant workplace for talent.
Winning an Inc.’s Best Places to Work award for the second year in a row proves that the culture we’ve worked so hard to create is embraced across the agency. In celebration of this achievement, we took a moment to reflect on what makes Offleash a thriving work environment for each and every employee. Here’s what makes us tick:
• We are better together: We’re proud to have an industry-best employee retention rate. Many team members consider themselves “lifers,” meaning that they’re here for the long haul and are invested in being a part of Offleash’s growth. Almost all of our senior and executive positions are filled with employees that started at the entry level. Our combined experience makes us greater, together.
• We’re all leaders: We believe in giving everyone, no matter their job title, the opportunity to lead. We’re transparent, authentic and honest. Nurturing future leaders will only help us cultivate our strong culture and success. One of the things we do to reinforce this is to hold an annual company offsite each year, bringing together our entire agency to focus on our business and ourselves, sharing ideas to help each other grow.
• Investment in our employees: We invest in our employees’ personal and professional lives every day. This year we added a new wellness package focused on physical and mental health. Additionally, we rolled out a professional enrichment benefit to empower and equip our employees with the tools and knowledge to develop their careers.
• Upholding our core values: Integrity first. Be bold. All in. These are the three sentiments that lead what we do every day. There is an active focus within the company to hold ourselves, and each other, accountable to these values.
Our employees are committed to helping Offleash succeed, and we want to reciprocate that same investment in their lives as well. We pride ourselves on living up to our name and “going off leash,” embracing our strengths and the uniqueness of each individual, because ultimately, it’s our people that truly make Offleash the best place to work.
