Taking a Niche Technology Mainstream

Offleash partnered with neo4j in 2011 to announce the Series A funding and formally launch the company to market with a focus on the enterprise. The goal was to take a “niche” developer technology and bring it to mainstream audiences through a combination of aggressive media relations and thought leadership, creative campaigns with global reach, a robust customer program, analyst relations, awards (corporate, leadership, product and customer), and a global speaking and events program.

Results

Our aggressive approach combined with our strategic PR programs resulted in an average of 300+ unique articles year-over-year, inclusion in 30+ analyst reports annually (including Gartner Cool Vendor, Gartner Magic Quadrant, Forrester Wave, others), and an average of 300+ speaking submissions per year (with a 65% success rate.) Offleash also launched neo4j’s highly successful GraphConnect conference and contributed to its year-over year growth, amassing thousands of users from all over the world, along with tier-one media and analyst participation.
