As Rumi once said, “Lamps are different, but light is the same.” This quote perfectly encapsulates the theme from this year’s RSA Conference: “Many Voices. One Community.” While each company in attendance had a unique approach and offering, they were united by a common mission: To safeguard organizations’ most critical digital assets, defend them against evolving threats, and rise to meet new challenges.
But this mission extends beyond just business—it’s about protecting the digital foundations of our modern world at a time of ever-growing risk and complexity. This is especially crucial in the age of AI, which, unsurprisingly, was a key theme throughout the entire event.
The Offleash team was proud to support over half a dozen of our cybersecurity clients as they shared their innovations and insights with the broader community at this year’s conference. We also hosted a happy hour at the iconic St. Regis Bar, bringing together clients, press, and others in the cybersecurity space. Read on for client happenings, AI buzz, and other takeaways from RSAC 2025.
Offleash Clients Made their Mark
Our clients made their mark on the show floor and beyond, showcasing bold innovations, strategic partnerships, and industry leadership. Apiiro launched its groundbreaking Software Graph Visualization—the first AI-powered, real-time map designed to visualize and track software architecture, vulnerabilities, and risk.
Cribl announced a partnership with Palo Alto Networks, enabling customers to more easily migrate from legacy SIEM systems to a modern, AI-driven platform. Commvault also made several notable announcements, including the extension of Cleanroom Recovery to managed service providers, and an expanded partnership with Crowdstrike and GovRAMP Authorization for Commvault Cloud.
Meanwhile, Veza captured attention with a major funding milestone, announcing a $108M Series D round led by NEA. Cato Networks’ Etay Maor took the stage with a compelling speaking session exploring how different types of threat actors evade security solutions. Beyond the show floor, Securiti brought together key voices in the industry, hosting an exclusive customer and analyst dinner and happy hour at the penthouse of The Harrison San Francisco. Operant AI hosted a CISO and customer dinner, fostering deeper connections across the cybersecurity ecosystem, and Descope joined forces with fellow security providers to co-host two happy hours, providing attendees with a space to unwind and connect.
AI Meets Action
AI was everywhere at RSAC 2025—from the keynote, to breakout sessions, to the show floor—underscoring the technology’s central role in shaping the future of cybersecurity. The reporters we talked with acknowledged that there is a lot of AI-washing happening in the industry, but it’s for good reason: As AI security risks come to the surface, the urgency to develop and adopt AI-powered solutions has never been greater.
Additionally, reporters expressed that last year was about figuring AI out, and this year is about taking action and confronting the security implications of accelerated AI adoption. In particular, they voiced growing concerns around agentic AI and the rise of shadow AI within organizations. These conversations with reporters echoed key themes of the conference, notably around AI’s dual role as both a defense tool and a threat vector, and the need for basic security controls for AI technologies.
The Innovation Sandbox “Digs” AI
This year marked the 20th anniversary of RSAC’s Innovation Sandbox (ISB), a prestigious competition where ten emerging companies pitch their solutions to industry experts, vying for the title of “Most Innovative Startup.” Fun fact: Offleash clients Apiiro and Securiti have both taken home this title in 2021 and 2020, respectively.
Every contestant participating in this year’s ISB led with an AI-focused message. The winner, ProjectDiscovery, demonstrated how it equips security teams with open-source tools to find and fix vulnerabilities fast. Powered by Nuclei, ProjectDiscovery’s platform automates attack surface monitoring and vulnerability management, helping organizations stay ahead of real-world threats.
Booth Activity: Puppies, Goats, Swag, Oh My!
What’s a conference without some fun on the show floor? Companies showed up in a big way this year, thinking outside the box with bold, interactive experiences that not only showcased their technology but captured the attention—and, in some cases, the adoration—of attendees. Orca Security had rescue puppies at its booth, and touted its mission to “rescue puppies and protect what matters most, in the cloud and beyond.” In a similar vein, Kiteworks had baby goats at its booth, which attendees could interact with while learning what makes them the “GOAT of data security solutions.” Clever and cute.
Offleash client Commvault excited attendees with next-level, immersive demo experiences at its booth, including a chance for security professionals to battle sophisticated cyber threats and real-world attacks in a race against the clock. Expel also turned heads with its awesome swag and customizable hat bar with patches.
RSAC 2025 was a powerful reminder that cybersecurity is a collective effort fueled by community, collaboration, and a shared sense of purpose. While the market may be noisy, the industry continues to show up with a sense of unity and urgency, especially as AI’s impact becomes more tangible. As threats evolve, so too must our partnerships—because when it comes to security we are better together.
